Where it all begins again...
The Easts Tigers pushed themselves to the top of the ladder, but have fallen back to #3; this week's match Easts Tigers v Mackay Cutters at Langlands Park is the opportunity to push themselves back to the top, but it's not that easy; as they will be facing a team proving themselves ready for a challenge and flying up the ladder. The Cutters, having won against Burleigh Bears and Norths Devils, they're thirsty for success and have the Tigers aimed in their sights.
Announcements will be coming in this week regards the full line up of both sides and TigerTV will be getting interviews in to highlight the importance this Match has for both teams: it's a chance for the Tigers to climb back to the top of the ladder or a chance for the Cutters to advance up the ranks and start flying through the rest of the Season; it's this match where it all begins again.
This match will be broadcast LIVE on Channel Nine QLD at 2.10pm Sunday April 22nd!

Finally, an Era comes back...
ONE of the greatest Rivalries of the QCup - Easts versus Wests; the Tigers versus the Panthers. The two bigs cats went head to head for decades and brought out some of the best football ever seen; and some of the greatest characters on and off the field.
It was the great past time of an Era to turn up on Sunday to see these two teams face off and the crowd would go wild. While the Panthers faded from the Cup, now only having Colts and A-Grade sides, they are still a force to be reckoned with; and history will be brought back on Sunday April 22nd; and as they say, history repeats itself when the young ones take on the visage of the old ones and bring glory home.
A Sunday Luncheon is also happening where the young meet the old and the history is presented - a mantel of honour - is bestowed at Langlands Park, Coorparoo QLD.
If you are interested in attending, please call the club on (07) 3397 5710 or email des@eastsleagues.com.au.

Easts Tigers DEFEAT Burleigh Bears...
Easts Tigers beat Burleigh Bears 24 - 12, on Sunday 1st April, in another great match; each time the Tigers go out onto the field they help make the other team shine and bring out some of the finest games of football we have ever seen.
This is the opportunity the Easts Tigers have been yearning for; a chance to prove their dominance against the Q-Cup Teams. It has been years in the making, but the tigers are set to define themselves as one of the best sides in years; one which will no doubt be spoken about in years to come.
Is it the fine coaching of Troy McCarthy and Craig Ingebrigtsen or the clubs allegiance to one of the most successful Rugby League Clubs, the Melbourne Storm, or the legion of tireless personnel behind the scenes at the club house, or is it the Football Stars on the field, proving the very concoction that is making the Easts Tigers a real threat in Season 2012?
Chances are its the right ingredients that's becoming the key, for the mixture is baking into a fine loaf that is being picked at and enjoyed by all who come to the field to support the team.
TigerTV is proud to be supporters of the Easts Tigers; after following them for over 20 years, this Supporter is still holding his head up high, through thick and thin, and now is the time to enjoy the winnings, but not exceed one's self joy, for we cannot see too far ahead and as life has proved so far, anything is possible.
